Redwood Primary School is the lead school for the Derby City Emotionally Healthy Schools Project, which is funded by the Department for Education’s Opportunity Area Programme (https://derbyopportunityarea.co.uk/). The project works with all 107 schools in Derby City to develop a whole school approach to emotional health and wellbeing in each school. As well as coordinating the project for the city, Redwood is also benefitting from the training and resources on offer, which includes accessing some funding for the school to support staff learning and development.
