There are lots of resources available on the internet. BBC Bitesize has a whole section of games and activities about starting school.
  • Starting School game A really good game to introduce your child to lots of aspects of school life. You can make your own character then go exploring! Hang up your coat, answer the register, play with some new friends!
There are lots of websites with stories to listen to online.
  • Book trust Lots of online stories and activities
  • Cbeebies There are lots of stories on the Cbeebies site as well as bedtime stories
  • Fun with Spot There aren't actually stories on this site but lots of activities linked to these popular books

Get physical together!

In school we use these activities to encourage health and fitness. They also develop children's  gross motor skills and co-ordination as well as their listening skills 

  • Cosmic Kids Yoga Great for co-ordination and control and for a bit of calm time!
