Music
At Redwood, children will be offered a range of musical experiences. They will have opportunities to listen and respond to a range of music, to devise their own opinions about different music styles and to develop their own skills playing and composing. This will include music from history and from other cultures.
During Year 5, all children will have the opportunity to learn to play a woodwind, brass or string instrument with teachers from Derbyshire Music Hub. Lessons can then continue into Year 6 and at secondary school if children would like to progress further.
