  Dear Parents/carers,

  The governing bodies of both Redwood Primary School and Parkview Primary School are pleased to announce that on Monday 10th July, they met to discuss the proposal for federation. Each separate governing body held a vote on whether to proceed with federating. Both governing bodies voted overwhelmingly to proceed with forming the federation; to be called Parkview Primary School and Redwood Primary School Federation. This will take place from 1st September 2017.

• Redwood Passport Launch

  Over the next two weeks, we will be launching the 'Redwood Passport of Experiences'.

  This is a list of 50 things which we believe that all children at Redwood should have the opportunity to experience before they leave our school. The list includes experiences such as visiting a theatre, building dens in the woods and toasting marshmallows on an open fire.

  We will provide all these opportunities during your child's time at Redwood in addition to the many experiences the children have outside of school.

  Parents will be invited in to school to take part in the first 'passport event' with their child before the end of term.
