    Details of Post

    The Governors of the Parkview Primary School and Redwood Primary School Federation invite applications from suitably experienced and qualified candidates for the post of Deputy Head Teacher.

    We are seeking an exceptional leader who will work in partnership with the Head Teacher to provide strong, strategic leadership across the school with key responsibilities to be negotiated.

    We are looking for someone who is:

    • An outstanding classroom practitioner with evidence of consistently high-quality teaching and learning;
    • An experienced and aspirational school leader with a clear understanding of effective school improvement strategies;
    • Able to contribute to and help shape the strategic direction, vision and ethos of the school;
    • Committed to raising standards and securing excellent outcomes for all pupils;
    • Skilled in leading, developing and motivating staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning across the school;
    • Passionate about creating an inclusive school culture where all children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally;
    • Able to use data, research and evidence-informed practice to drive improvement;
    • Experienced in leading key areas of school development and managing change effectively;
    • A reflective and outward-facing practitioner who actively engages in professional development and wider school networks;
    • Positive, resilient and able to inspire confidence within the school community.

    The successful candidate will play a key role in the leadership of the school, contributing to whole-school improvement, staff development and the promotion of high expectations and achievement for all pupils.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
